Where does the money from Christmas eGifts go?
All funds raised through Christmas eGifts will go directly to CareFlight, helping CareFlight crews attend to critically ill and injured Australians in their moment of need.
What is a Christmas eGift?
A Christmas eGift is a donation which you make in lieu of giving a physical gift this Christmas. This donation can be made in the name of a friend, family member or co-worker.
Gift recipents will receive a personalised email with an attached digital Christmas card notifying them that a donation has been made in their name, to help CareFlight continue to save lives, speed recovery and serve the community.
When will my recipient receive their Christmas eGift?
All Christmas eGifts are sent as soon as the donation has been finalised.
As the donor you will receive an email with a tax receipt at the same time your eGift recipient receives their Christmas eGift.

Does CareFlight have to send my Christmas eGift to my recipient?
No, you can choose to have the eGift sent to yourself rather than to your recipient.
To do this all you need to do is put your own email address in the box where the recipient's email address is requested. You will then receive the email with the included eGift.
Can I add a personalised message?
Yes, when donating you have the option to include a personalised message.
Personalised messages will be included in the email which is sent to your recipient with their Christmas eGift attached.
Does the Christmas eGift show how much I have donated?
No, however if you would like to let your recipient know how much you have donated in their name please feel free to add this in your personalised message.
Is the Christmas eGift tax deductible?
Yes, all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
